The scope of work for this project will include all professional services required to adequately complete all identified immediate needs from the PER. These services will include but are not limited to design, contract administration, inspection, and other identified tasks to assist the Town in this project. Weekly and/or monthly coordination meetings with town staff and any contractors will be required to ensure that the project is on time and on scope. The Town facilities can be used to host meetings and if needed a satellite office space can be arranged with advance notice. The firm will be responsible for the engineered design and/or specification of items identified as immediate needs on the PER. The firm will be responsible for assisting with the procurement of the construction contract and for performing contract administration for the construction phase of the project. The firm will facilitate and provide any necessary inspections and testing of the improvements, as well as project acceptance by Virginia Department of Environmental Quality for all the improvements within this project scope upon completion. Assistance with final project acceptance and any warranty periods are needed as part of this project. The firm will need to work with any funding agencies for compliance with their standards and to cooperate with the Virginia Department of Environmental Quality permitting office and ensure adequate compliance with any state or federal regulations for any permitting or certifications
