1. City’s Medium/Heavy-Duty Towing List shall mean a rotating list used by the City of Roanoke to secure the towing services of private providers in such circumstances including but not limited to accident towing and clean-up of medium and heavy duty vehicles, towing of medium or heavy duty vehicles from the downtown market area, towing of disabled medium or heavy duty vehicles from the public right-of-way and towing of abandoned medium or heavy duty vehicles from the public right-of-way should the City contract with more than one Medium and Heavy Duty Contract Tower. 2. Contract Tower shall mean any legal entity that has contracted with the City to provide police requested towing services from a specific business address within the City of Roanoke and complies with all terms and conditions of the Rules and Regulations set forth in this Contract. 3. Heavy-Duty Tow shall mean any tow of a Class 7 or Class 8 heavy-duty vehicle.
