Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Contractor shall oversee the project from planning and design through fabrication and installation to the opening of the exhibit, and furnish all supervision, labor, tools, materials and supplies necessary to provide the services described herein. a. Each Virginia State Park is unique and focuses on interpreting its significant and distinct stories and resources. This project will result in an exhibit which: 1) leaves visitors with an understanding of what makes that park special. 2) is engaging, immersive, interactive, and mission-driven to supplement and enhance the visitor’s experience when in-person interpretive programming is unavailable. 3) is educational and correlates with the Virginia Standards of Learning where reasonable and appropriate. 4) drives visitors out into the park to discover the essential experiences it offers. 5) incorporates accessible and timeless design which appeals to the park’s diverse audiences.
