General Service Requirements Lot 1 Option-Removing felled trees and debris from park property: 1. Contractor shall cut, fell, and remove 45 identified hazardous trees and all related limbs and debris off State Park Property to an approved facility for such debris. 2. Contractor shall identify sensitive areas around tree felling area and protect those areas. Examples are septic fields, buildings, uneven terrain, etc. 3. Contractor shall use felling methods, techniques and equipment necessary to prevent damage to park property. 4. Contractor shall grind stumps to 2” below grade and covered. 5. Contractor shall clean and move stump grinding to chip dump location or scatter near fell site if approved by park representative. General Service Requirements Lot 2 Option Award- moving felled trees to identified area on park grounds: 1. Contractor shall cut, fell, and remove 45 identified hazardous trees and all related limbs and debris to a location identified on state park grounds. 2. Contractor shall identify sensitive areas around tree felling area and protect those areas. Examples are septic fields, buildings, uneven terrain, etc. 3. Contractor shall use felling methods, techniques and equipment necessary to prevent damage to park property. 4. Contractor shall cut, chipped to 12-inch diameter and logs above 12 inches in diameter, cut into 9’ logs and stacked to be cut later for firewood. 5. Contractor shall grind stumps to 2” below grade and covered. 6. Contractor shall clean and move stump grinding to chip dump location or scatter near fell site if approved by park representative. 7. Contractor shall clean and move firewood cut logs and debris to designated areas such as clearing behind the shop yard, designated burn pile or clearing near the equestrian day use lot. General Service Requirements Lot 3 Option, Optional Award based on funding for Additional trees identified at the time of site visit felled and removed from park grounds: 1. Contractor shall cut, fell, and remove additional identified hazardous trees at time of site visit and all related limbs and debris off State Park Property to an approved facility for such debris. 2. Contractor shall identify sensitive areas around tree felling area and protect those areas. Examples are septic fields, buildings, uneven terrain, etc. 3. Contractor shall use felling methods, techniques and equipment necessary to prevent damage to park property. 4. Contractor shall grind stumps to 2” below grade and covered. 5. Contractor shall clean and move stump grinding to chip dump location or scatter near fell site if approved by park representative.
