A. Spay/Neuter Services 1. Provide spay/neuter services to animals (dogs and cats) on a weekly basis. The animal shelter manager will schedule to have services completed once or twice weekly. Days of the week can be determined or performed on a set schedule upon award of the contract. 2. Provider will be given 48 hours’ notice of the needs for the scheduled date. There will be no less than 3 animals and no more than 15 animals taken to a clinic on any given date unless scheduled otherwise. The number of procedures performed will be based on our needs and the scheduled availability of the provider. 3. Estimated number of procedures performed on an annual basis is 550. Numbers will be based on our annual intake numbers and adoption rates. B. Other Veterinary Services 1. Provide veterinary services that are not covered under items A. 2. Services under this item are generally completed on an as needed basis and are limited to illness, emergency, lifesaving or cases that could not be handled as part of items A. 3. Pricing shall be based on preliminary visit costs and the pricing schedule will not include prices for additional services rendered. It is unreasonable to expect development of a cost sheet that will encompass all potential services, so the pricing schedule will have a few common types of visits listed and a few types of common services.
