Specifications include, but are not limited to: The purpose of this Invitation for Bid (IFB) is to establish a term contract for vehicle marking services to include decals and installation for various Fire-EMS vehicles. Installation of decals will be performed at the Contractor’s facility. The facility must be climate controlled to include HVAC; have a bay with a minimum of 12’ x14’ lockable door; be capable of housing up to a 48- foot-long vehicle; and be equipped with video security system. A storage site must be located on the premises and have a minimum of a 12’ x 14’ lockable door and capable of housing up to a 48-foot-long vehicle when not being worked on. Each vehicle must have clean terminations of graphics. This includes wrapping the decals around door seams, door jambs, fenders, body contours, etc. to ensure a neat and clean finish and to prevent the decal from peeling back. The Contractor must complete all surface prep work required to ensure proper adhesion of the decal to the vehicle. This includes the removal of lights or door handles to ensure a clean and neat finish. This could include, but is not limited to, removing and reinstalling per OEM design certain body accessories, lights, etc. to wrap the decal behind them for a clean appearance. Vehicle striping must be seamless. Joints of material must take place at door seams.
