Specifications include, but are not limited to: The contractor shall have same day turnaround for emergency vehicle repairs. The contractor shall have the ability to assist in calling a wrecker service for vehicles that break down to be towed to their shop for repair. The contractor shall have the ability to work on hydraulic lifts on vehicles. The contractor shall have the ability to install and repair equipment (e.g., snowplows and salt spreaders). The contractor shall supply information on any available discounts/ promotions or offers (in terms of discounts on labor, parts, state inspection, etc.). The contractor shall supply complete turnaround time for vehicle lubrication. The contractor shall provide estimate and receive authorization from a Fleet Representative prior to commencing any work. The contractor shall furnish bid exclusive of any State and Local taxes.
