Grounds Maintenance: 1. Provide all tools, labor, equipment and incidentals to cut, weed eat, and edge grass, mulch leaves by mower, remove trash/litter/cigarette butts/sticks and branches from grass areas, sidewalks, steps, smoking receptacles and parking lot, including the embankment at the roadside. 2. Grass cutting, trimming and edging services must be provided when grass reaches 4 inches and cut to not less than 3 inches. 3. Grass clippings must be removed from lawn when clippings are excessive, or clumped and removed from sidewalks, steps, parking lot and any exterior HVAC equipment each time grass is mowed. Grounds Maintenance-Optional: Optional services shall be provided by the contractor only when requested by the Contract Administrator and a separate purchase order is received. 4. Gutter cleaning, remove sticks, leaves and debris three (3) times per year during the months of March, September and November. 5. Apply weed/grass killing chemical to the parking lot and mulched areas as two (2) times a year (April and October) to inhibit grass and weed growth. 6.
