A. General: The design, construction, materials, performance and quality of these Performance Type R, Class 3 Safety T-Shirts shall meet or exceed the requirements for a high-visibility garment as established in the American National Standard for High Visibility Safety Apparel by the Safety Equipment Association (ANSI/ISEA 107-2015 or most recent). B. Garment Construction: Short Sleeve: The T-Shirt shall be constructed of twenty-two (22) separate pieces of material: seven front panels, seven back panels, two sleeves, two mid panels on sleeves, one collar, plus one pocket. • Front and back pieces will converge at the shoulders and sides. Seams will be over-lock stitched. • Black Bottom front: Positioned below front horizontal reflective tape. Minimum amount of lime visible background material is 1240 in². Long Sleeve: The T-Shirt shall be constructed of twenty-two (22) separate pieces of material: seven front panels, seven back panels, two sleeves, two mid panels on sleeves, one collar, plus one pocket. • Front and back pieces will converge at the shoulders and sides. Seams shall be over-lock stitched. • Black Bottom front: Positioned below front horizontal reflective tape. • Black lower sleeve and cuff: Positioned below lower sleeve reflective tape • Minimum amount of Fluorescent lime visible background material is 1240 in².
