Deliver all maintenance, equipment, parts and accessories as listed in the below Scope of Work, to Northern Virginia Community College (NVCC). A Certificate of Insurance (COI) must be submitted with the bid. A. General Overview The purpose of this Scope of Work (SOW) is to establish a contract with a qualified vendor to provide Variable Frequency Drive (VFD) maintenance, repair, and replacement services for all VFD units located at the six campuses of Northern Virginia Community College (NVCC). The contractor shall provide all necessary labor, tools, equipment, materials, parts, supplies, supervision, and transportation required to perform the services as described herein. C. Preventive Maintenance (PM) Services Preventive maintenance services shall be conducted on a schedule to be determined upon contract award (e.g., semi-annually or annually) for all VFDs identified by NVCC. PM services shall include, but not be limited to: 1. Inspection: Visual inspection of the VFD and associated wiring, including cooling fans, heat sinks, filters, and enclosures. 2. Cleaning: Thorough cleaning of interior and exterior components, including dust and debris removal, and replacement of any required air filters. 3. Tightening: Checking and tightening all power and control terminal connections. 4. Testing: Taking and documenting key operational measurements to include input/output voltage and current, motor nameplate data, and run hours. 5. Documentation: Generating a detailed report annually or for service calls for each VFD, noting its condition, any anomalies found, and recommendations for repair or replacement to be delivered to the College Contract Administrator or Designee. D. Repair and Replacement Services The contractor must be capable of providing emergency, non-emergency, and scheduled repair and replacement services. 1. Troubleshooting and Diagnosis: Upon notification of a VFD failure or malfunction, the contractor must dispatch a qualified technician to diagnose the problem within four (4) hours. 2. Repair: Perform necessary repairs, which may include replacing internal components (e.g., power modules, control boards, fuses, capacitors). All replacement parts must be new, manufacturer-recommended, or equivalent, and carry a minimum one-year warranty. If bench repairs at Contractor site must be made, this must be approved by the College Contract Administrator or Designee.
