Specifications include, but are not limited to: The intent of this service is to combat adverse weather conditions in a comprehensive and orderly manner that results in a high level of quality and safety for Virginia ABC and its customers. The Contractor shall ensure that snowand/or ice are removed from the Store, prior to the location’s opening, seven (7) days a week.1.Without advance approval from Virginia ABC, the Contractor shall immediately proceed with snow removal upon snowfall ceasing and at least three (3) inches of snow accumulation, or if a Virginia ABC Store Manager ordesignee requests snow removal before three (3) inches of snow has accumulated. Timing of the clearing shallbe coordinated for employees to arrive at the location by 8:00 AM (EST) and leave as needed.2.Contractor must respond to Virginia ABC requests to perform snow/ice removal within two (2) hours of contact.a.Parking lot grates and gutter drains shall not be blocked by piles of snow. Contractor must allow for waterto drain from the site when the snow or ice is melting.3.The Virginia ABC Store Manager or designee may, at any time, notify the Contractor that snow and/or ice removal services are or are not required. The Virginia ABC Store Manager or designee will attempt to provide a minimum of two (2) hours notice when services are required. No additional fees shall be charged for these notifications/requests
