The USPTO hosts Patent and Trademark data and services which is migrating to multiple Cloud providers which must be scanned for Cloud infrastructure vulnerabilities and non-compliance. The Cybersecurity Division (CD) under Office of the Chief Information Officer (OCIO) has identified Cloud Security Posture Management (CSPM) as the tool/software that meets the agency needs. Cloud Security Posture Management (CSPM) is a software as a service (SaaS) solution that helps protect against cyber-attacks in the cloud environment. The Cybersecurity Division will deploy the software to all USPTO multi-cloud provider accounts including lab and production environments.
