Specifications include, but are not limited to: 1. The Offeror agrees to furnish uniformed guards who will provide security services at Colonial Behavioral Health. The guards will be employed by the Offeror and the Offeror agrees the security services will be performed in accordance with accepted security practices and standards. 2. The Offeror agrees that security guards assigned will report any unusual incidents to staff contact person (assigned by Colonial Behavioral Health) as soon as possible. Should an incidence occur, a written report by the guard is required at the end of each shift. 3. The Offeror employs all security guards and as such, agrees to pay all taxes related to guards, including Federal, state, Social Security, unemployment, etc. Security guards are NOT employees of Colonial Behavioral Health. 4. The Offeror will be responsible for the supervision of its guards through the assigned staff contact person. 5. The security guard will report to CBH promptly at designated time for specific location. 6. The Offeror will notify Colonial Behavioral Health contact person prior to 8:30 a.m. if a security guard will not be present. 7. The Offeror will be responsible to have completed, pay for, and furnish to Colonial Behavioral Health, background checks AND drug screenings on any security guards who will or might be assigned to Colonial Behavioral Health. Any guard EVER convicted of a barrier crime will not be assigned to CBH. As well, and guard who tests positive for drug use on a drug test will NOT be assigned to CBH. Colonial Behavioral Health reserves the right to reject the assignment of any security guard to its locations. 8. Colonial Behavioral Health requires the on-site security guards be able to speak English fluently and understand written English. This requirement is necessary because the security guard will be required to complete daily reports; incident reports; deal with law enforcement and medical/clinical personnel should the need arise. 9. The Offeror will not assign security guards under the age of twenty-one (21) to any CBH location. 10. Security guards are required to be 1st Aid, CPR, and AED certified at the expense and scheduling of the Offeror. 11. Security guards are required to complete CBH trainings, face-to-face as well as on line. Trainings include but are not limited to infection control, workplace violence, etc. 12. Under NO circumstances shall any security guard assigned to CBH carry, display or use weapons of deadly force. Incidents requiring such force shall be turned over to the police for resolution.
