The Contractor shall furnish all necessary supervision, labor, transportation, fuel, equipment, tools and incidentals as required to provide on-call, as needed brush, tree, and stump grinding services for both emergency and non-emergency services. Emergency shall be defined as a State of Emergency as declared by the Governor of Virginia. The Contractor’s equipment shall be set up at a location designated by VDOT to grind waste wood material collected by VDOT. The Contractor shall be responsible for removing any foreign materials (cans, bottles, paper, etc.) from the wood waste prior to being ground so as not to contaminate the final mulch product in accordance with the specifications, terms, and conditions contained in this solicitation. The Contractor shall stockpile the finished material at the job site for VDOT’s use. Bidder's may bid on multiple lots, but must have sufficient personnel and equipment to perform work simultaneous in all lots awarded.
