Specifications include, but are not limited to: A. The intent of this "REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS" (hereinafter known as "this document") and resulting contract is to obtain the services of a qualified firm(s) (hereinafter known as "Vendor") to provide TRIP AND TOUR SERVICES for the Clarke County Parks and Recreation Department (hereinafter known as “County”) as described below for a two-year period starting July 1, 2024 and ending on June 30, 2026. This contract may be renewed for two (2) additional two-year terms, if both parties are in agreement. B. The County intends to award to a pool of providers to allow a wide variety of destination package options. Trips shall be determined between the County and the selected vendor(s) for each year. C. The Clarke County Parks and Recreation Department is located at 225 Al Smith Circle in Berryville, VA. D. The Clarke County Parks and Recreation Department (CCPRD) schedules trips for interested groups of citizens throughout the year. CCPRD typically expects to travel as a group. This is what the clients expect and therefore, is what CCPRD solicits in its trips and cruises. E. Some examples of past trips lead by the Clarke County Parks and Recreation Department include: 1. Motorcoach tour of the New England Coast 2. Alaskan Cruise 3. Bermuda Cruise 4. Hawaii Cruise 5. Motorcoach trip to Washington Nationals Game 6. Motorcoach trip to New York City
