Services will include comprehensive assessment, individual therapy, group therapy, case management, and peer recovery services. Therapist duties must include meeting with inmates weekly or biweekly for individual therapy based on the inmate's needs. Weekly treatment and education groups would also be provided by the therapist. Group topics will include adult children of addiction, co-dependency, Carey Guide topics such as anger management, mindfulness, music and recovery, and art. Transition and reentry will also be addressed. The therapist would see approximately 39 inmates biweekly per month. The Certified Substance Abuse Counselor (CSAC) will provide group counseling, substance use counseling, and substance use case management. Case management activities will include collaboration with jail staff regarding discharge planning, transfer inductions, medication issues, and reentry to treatment services.
