The Town of Leesburg, Virginia (“Town”) is requesting sealed bids from qualified Bidders to recoat the upper deck of the Town Parking Garage, with a bid additive to recoat a portion of the second deck. Remove any existing floor coating necessary for proper adhesion of new coating. Thoroughly clean the surface to remove dirt, oil, and deicing chemical residue and debris. Remove all existing caulk joints in preparation for new caulking. Repair cracks, holes, or uneven areas in the concrete. • Prepare all caulk joints as specified by the caulking manufacturer. Use a backer rod 25% larger than the joints. Use Sikasil®-728 NS or town approved equivalent. • Remove the 4 ramp expansion joints, replace using a Sika Thermoflex system or a town approved equivalent. Prepare surfaces and install per manufacturer specifications. • Apply a Polyaspartic parking deck coating, Sikalastic 748 PA, or town approved equivalent, gray in color. Supply a color sample to the town for approval. Prime and prepare surfaces and install per the manufacturer. Use a kiln dried manufacturer approved silica aggregate to ensure a slip resistant finish. • Secure parking blocks with an appropriate construction adhesive, stripe and number parking spaces with the recommended traffic paint per the traffic coating manufacturer, oil or latex as required, per an approved drawing from the Town.
