Services include, but are not limited to, the following: • Towing services during regular business hours (8:30 am – 5:00 pm), after hours, weekends and holidays, if needed. • Towing standard vehicles to include sedans, trucks, SUVs, farming equipment, ATVs, motorcycles, etc. • Towing of large equipment to include fire trucks, ambulances, front loaders, backhoes, etc. • Roadside assistance service to include flat tire change or fix, jumpstart, lockouts, fuel, etc. Fuel shall be provided at pump price. • Wrinch-Out Service: Removing vehicles or equipment from mud, ditches or other areas. • Time frame for services: 24/7 • Response Times: All requests that come from the Sheriff’s Office must have a truck on-site within thirty (30) minutes of initial call. All other requests must have a truck on-site within one (1) hour of initial call. • Mileage fee will be allowed for services outside of Dinwiddie County. • Towing services as a result of an accident will be covered by the State Police or vehicle owner, unless the involved vehicle is County-owned.
