The purpose of this Request for Proposals (RFP) is to solicit sealed proposals to establish a contract(s) through competitive negotiations with one or more Offerors to provide the following services on behalf of the Virginia Department of Criminal Justice Services (DCJS), Virginia Center for School and Campus Safety (VCSCS): Conduct trainings in basic, case management, advanced, and train-the-trainer threat assessment topics for K-12 audiences. Conduct basic and advanced threat assessment trainings for institutions of higher education. Conduct community behavioral threat assessment and train-the-trainer course for community audiences. Provide direct consultation to school, campus-based and community-based threat assessment teams based on requests, and on threat assessment-related projects for the DCJS. Provide additional development of trainings and webinars on topics related to K-12, institutions of higher education, and community-based threat assessment audiences, as requested by DCJS.
