Gasoline: a. Type: 87% octane unleaded gasoline. b. Must meet ASTM D4814 standards. c. One (1) five thousand (5,000) gallon tank located at Operations Center. Diesel Fuel: a. Type: Ultra Low Sulfur No. 2-D or ASTM D975 b. Must meet ASTM D975 standards with a minimum 40 Cetane rating. c. Four (4) tanks that are ten thousand (10,000) gallons located across Montgomery County, addresses mentioned above. d. Diesel fuel should contain at minimum, two percent, by volume, biodiesel fuel or green fuel as defined in § 45.1 - 394 of the Code of Virginia, if readily available from the Contractor’s primary terminal for the Richmond OPIS posting. e. The Contractor shall provide a Diesel ULSD Winter Blend which must include chemical additive that is in accordance with federally mandated requirements. f. During winter months, generally required between October and March, but the Contract Administrator will determine when the winter blend is required and will make the Contractor aware of the requirement at the time that the order is placed.
