Specifications include, but are not limited to:The County of New Kent is soliciting proposals from consulting firms to manage and undertake the planning of a community-based broadband telecommunication project. This project will result in the production of a community telecommunications plan containing an assessment of current broadband availability and usage, assessment of demand aggregation and future use, assessment of the relationship to regional planning and telecommunications networks, a plan for community development applications, and a network design. This Request for Proposal (“RFP”) is part of a competitive procurement process intended to obtain the highest quality of services at the most reasonable price.
