Specifications include, but are not limited to: The purpose of this CONTRACT/AGREEMENT is to retain a qualified firm or individual to perform Intergovernmental Affairs and Community Liaison Services requested from a CONSULTANT specializing in public liaison and public affairs. The CONSULTANT will provide support to the District Director of Planning and Public Transportation to enable the District to better understand and meet the transportation needs of the community, both private and governmental. These services will be to provide the District information, recommendations and liaison to local government officials for those transportation-related issues affecting the DEPARTMENT, and does not require any lobbying on behalf of the DEPARTMENT. The District requests that the CONSULTANT be able to provide liaison services in Miami-Dade and Monroe Counties.
