Specifications include, but are not limited to: 1. The Contractor shall be responsible for providing qualified Laborers on as, “on-call as needed” basis in accordance with the specifications contained herein and quantity of award, per position type. 2. The Contractor shall ensure his capability to perform work under this contract considering other contractual responsibilities to VDOT or elsewhere. Contractor shall not assign personnel or equipment utilized under this contract to any other contractual obligations without prior approval of VDOT Representative’s. 3. Time Sheets: The Contractor’s employees shall use a sign-in/sign-out sheet which will be available at the assigned Area Headquarter location for each shift. Hours worked will be verified and signed by the VDOT Shift Supervisor at the end of each shift. 4. Transportation: It shall be the responsibility of the Contractors or Contractor’s employees to provide transportation to and from the assigned work location. All hours worked will paid at the hourly rate on the bid pricing schedule. No payment will be made for travel time to and from the work assignment locations. 5. Performance: If a Contractor employee or subcontractor is unable or unwilling to perform the work effectively in accordance with Section IV. Personnel Requirements/Duties within the first three (3) hours of work, the Contractor(s) shall not charge VDOT for the unsatisfactory performance of the employee and the Contractors shall then provide a qualified and suitable replacement to VDOT, if requested. VDOT will notify Contractor immediately if it is deemed that a Contractor employee or subcontractor is not satisfactorily performing the job duties specified.
