Specifications include, but are not limited to: 1. City Buildings/Locations (excluding Schools): The contractor shall supply sufficient equipment, materials, and personnel to remove snow and ice from selected City building parking lots, sidewalks, and fire station ramps and apply Ice Melt to the total areas designated in Attachment E, Pricing Schedule so as to create safe conditions for pedestrian and vehicular traffic in response to inclement winter weather. 2. Fire Stations: The Contractor shall completely clear Fire Station ramps, front and rear free and clear to the main City street, as well as all sites designated in Attachment E, Pricing Schedule , so as to allow free and safe egress and ingress of emergency vehicles, maintenance vehicles/equipment, city employees and citizens vehicles, including pedestrian traffic, etc. 3. Use of equipment other than that which is solely owned by the contractor shall not relieve the contractor of any requirements as stated in this contract. 4. Snow removed from parking lots shall be moved to the far corner of each parking lot. The contractor shall ensure that sidewalks, driveways, roadways, building entry ways, etc. are not obstructed by piled snow and ice. Snow removed from sidewalks may be pushed onto the interior grass beside sidewalks.
