Specifications include, but are not limited to: The contractor shall: 1. The Contractor shall be available for pretreatment and snow and ice removal of parking lots and sidewalks within 1 hour of the specific request of the Facility Supervisor or designee. 2. Apply Calcium Magnesium Acetate (CMA) to parking lots and sidewalks as necessary to prevent snow and ice buildup. The contractor shall pretreat parking lots and/or sidewalks as requested by the Facility Supervisor. 3. Furnish all labor, equipment, and materials necessary to remove snow and ice from sidewalks, parking lots and other designated areas as required by the Facility Supervisor. 4. Use only Calcium Magnesium Acetate (CMA) for pretreatment/snow removal during this contract. Salt to be used only if CMA is not available. CMA and salt must be billed at the purchased price with no mark up, DFS may ask for receipt documentation at any time. 5. The contractor shall mark curbs and other obstacles before the first snow or ice event. DFS will allow up to a two (2) hour, single person, charge for the service.
