A. The Contractor shall furnish and provide all labor and equipment for snow removal services on 86 and 87 Deacon Road, Fredericksburg, VA 22405. 1. Contractor shall provide two (2) ¾ ton or greater pickup trucks with owner plow and spreader to clear 86/87 Deacon Road lots during snow events on an as needed basis. VDOT reserves the right to request one (1) or both trucks for service depending on the anticipated snow accumulation. Each truck shall come with one skilled and capable driver. Contractor will be paid a minimum of two (2) hours per event per piece of equipment. Driver is expected to clear the snow off both lots per the direction of the District Facilities Staff on site. a. Dusting to 3” – contractor will provide a minimum of one (1) truck for two (2) hours b. Three” (3) to Six” (6) – contractor will provide a minimum of two (2) trucks c. Six” (6) to Twelve” (12) and above – contractor will provide a Front End Loader or Bobcat with rubber tires with a minimum 6 foot wide bucket in addition to two (2) trucks 2. Contractor shall provide one (1) Front-End Loader or Bobcat to clear 86/87 Deacon Road lots during snow events on an as needed basis. VDOT reserves the right to request or not request the Front-End Loader or Bobcat for service depending on the anticipated snow accumulation. Each truck shall come with one skilled and capable driver. Contractor will be paid a minimum of two (2) hours per event per piece of equipment. Driver is expected to clear the snow off both lots per the direction of the District Facilities Staff on site. 3. Contractor shall provide four (4) General Labor employees to clear 86/87 Deacon Road sidewalks, ramps, bridges, walkways, and stairs during snow events on an as needed basis. VDOT reserves the right to request as many as four laborers, per event, for service depending on the anticipated snow accumulation. VDOT will provide snow blowers, shovels, and manual salt spreaders for General Labor Employees. The Contractor shall provide all outerwear and any other necessary tools to perform the snow removal. The Contractor shall be paid a minimum of two (2) hours per event per General Laborer.
