Specifications include, but are not limited to: Contractor shall provide all equipment, labor, fuel, supplies, tools, transportation, qualified, experienced operator(s), and supervision necessary to perform Snow Removal Operations to remove snow, ice and other frozen precipitation on the routes described in the table above, including all entrance and exit ramps, intersections and cross-overs, etc., as directed by the VDOT Contract Administrator or designee. Services included in this contract will be required on an on-call as needed basis, 24 hours a day, 365 days per year. Payment for services will be at an Operational Rate.; 1. Tandem or Multi-axle Dump Trucks equipped with Contractor Owned equipment: - The unit bid price shall be an hourly rate and shall include the cost of, equipment, operator, relief driver, contractor owned 11’ snow plows, 8 cu yd, chemical spreader and two (2) 100 gallon liquid truck-mounted spray units, fuel, communication devices, cutting blades, mechanical services and any other incidental costs associated.; 2. Single Axle Dump Truck equipped with Contractor Supplied Plow: - The unit bid price shall be an hourly rate and shall include the cost of, equipment, operator, relief driver, contractor owned 11’ snow plows, 8 cu yd, chemical spreader and two (2) 100 gallon liquid truck-mounted spray units, fuel, communication devices, cutting blades, mechanical services and any other incidental costs associated.; 3. One (1) Ton Truck with plow and spreader: The unit bid price shall be an hourly rate and shall include the cost of equipment, operator, relief driver, contractor owned 7’6” snow plow, 2 cu yd chemical spreader, fuel, communication devices, cutting blades, mechanical services and any other incidental costs associated.; 4. Motor Grader with Operator, min. 95 HP. The unit bid price shall be a standard hourly rate and shall include the cost for equipment, skilled operator, fuel, and any other incidental supplies and materials. This equipment will only be requested at the discretion of VDOT. Unit is equipped with an 11” front mounted snow plow. ; 5. Rubber Tire Loader with Operator (3 cubic yard). The unit bid price shall be a standard hourly rate and shall include the cost for equipment, skilled operator, fuel, and any other incidental supplies and materials.; 6. Snow Blower with Operator, 84” W x 60”H Truck or Loader Mounted. The unit bid price shall be a standard hourly rate and shall include the cost for equipment, skilled operator, fuel, and any other incidental supplies and materials.
