Specifications include, but are not limited to: A contract with a qualified bidder to provide snow removal service for Thomas Nelson Community College (TNCC) campuses. 1. The contractor shall furnish all necessary labor, travel, supervision, tools, materials, and equipment, to snowplow, push snow and to spread ice melt to TNCC two campuses located at the following: • Hampton Campus located at 99 Thomas Nelson Drive, Hampton, Virginia 23666; and • Historic Triangle Campus located at 4601 Opportunity Way, Williamsburg, Virginia 23188. 2. The contractor shall provide emergency snow plowing of ice melt upon request from TNCC for any emergency snow and/or ice condition needs with a guaranteed response time not to exceed four (4) hours. 3. The contractor shall have and maintain suitable modern equipment and tools necessary to perform the services that may be required under any resultant contract. 4. The contractor shall provide ice melt product to treat and prevent ice, upon request. Ice melt containing rock salt (Sodium Chloride) or Urea is not approved for application to TNCC properties. All ice melt products utilized to treat ice and snow must be approved in advance by TNCC and documentation of ice melt product ingredients and quantities used for each event will be required. 5. The contractor shall supply TNCC with the cost per bag of ice melt before the contract begins and the cost per bag shall remain the same for one (1) year.
