Specifications include, but are not limited to: A. GENERAL REQUIREMENTS 1. The successful bidder shall furnish all labor, material, supplies, equipment, transportation, and incidental items of any kind as may be required to perform the removal of snow/ice and/or spreading salt, sand, or ice melt at GCC. 2. Snow/ice removal shall be in accordance with industry standards. The college’s facilities include, but are not limited to roadways, parking lots, and driveways. 3. The successful bidder must have a minimum of five (5) years, experience in providing the services being sought in this IFB. 4. The successful bidder shall perform its operations, with sufficient frequency so that, at all times, the successful bidder’s work complies with all requirements and specifications of any resultant contract, consistently providing a safe means of vehicular and pedestrian passage at the work site. 5. GCC- Fredericksburg location estimates 700-710 hours of snow/ice removal services per year. The estimated quantities may or may not be needed, depending on the amount of snow and or ice that falls each year. GCC is not obligated to guarantee any amount of hours to the awarded bidder. B. WORK PLAN 1. A coordination meeting will occur prior to the winter season with the Director of Facilities or his/her designee to clarify the requirements of the service. The coordination meeting shall identify and restate all performance and work requirements described herein, including frequencies, and include the following overall information: a. The name, email address, and telephone number(s), including a cell phone of a contact person that has total responsibility of addressing and providing solutions to any deficiencies that may occur during the term of the contract
