Specifications include, but are not limited to: The College’s Director of Facilities, Campus Building and Grounds Supervisors or his/her representative, shall be able to contact the contractor by telephone and cell phone 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. The contractor shall respond “on site” within a reasonable time, approximately 4 hours, after receipt of a telephone request for service from the College’s Supervisor(s) of Facilities Operations, or his representative. The contractor should have enough personnel and equipment to simultaneously brine or remove snow and ice and apply ice melt at both Campuses. The service request shall provide for the brining of main driveways and parking lots or removal of snow and ice from main driveways, parking lots, entrances, sidewalks, exits, etc. Snow shall be stacked in areas designated by either the College’s Building and Grounds Supervisor, or his/her representative. All requests for services shall be completed prior to the next regularly scheduled business day.
