Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Virginia Department of Transportation (herein referred to as “VDOT”) is soliciting bids from qualified firms to provide various types of equipment with experienced drivers/operators to perform Emergency Snow and Ice Removal operations on Interstate I-64 in Albemarle, Fluvanna and Louisa counties located within the VDOT Culpeper District, in accordance with specifications contained herein on an as needed basis. The successful contractor(s) shall furnish services upon request by the Virginia Department of Transportation Culpeper District Snow and ice removal services for Interstate 64 MM 124 to MM 147.8 at the Louisa/Goochland County Line to include all ramps at Exits 124, 129, 136 and 143 within Albemarle, Fluvanna and Louisa Counties. 23.8 miles
