Specifications include, but are not limited to: 1.Provide emergency snow plowing upon request from DSLCC forany emergency snow and/or ice condition needs with a guarantee response time not to exceed 2 hours. 2.Shall provide a four (4) wheel drive,heavy duty,pick-up truck with a front mounted snow plow and operator, upon request. The truck shall be ¾ ton or larger and the front mounted plow shall be a minimum of 7’ wide and fully adjustable and controlled by the operator from the cab of the truck. 3.Shall perform its operations with sufficient frequency so that, at all times, the contractor’s work is in compliance with all requirements and specifications of any resultant contract, consistently providing a safe means of vehicular and pedestrian passage at the work site. 4.College RepresentativeShall:a.Be the “Contract Administrator”, but,inthe absence of the Contract Administrator, the Director of Facilities shall act as the College Representative. b.Delegate other college personnel to assist in the administration of any resultant Contract. The contractorwill be supplied with the name and title of the College personnel having authority to act for the College in matters pertaining to any resultant contract or otherwise to interface with the successful bidder’s agent and its personnel. 5.Contractor’s Agentshall: a.Report to the College Representative or designee hourly when work is being performed under any resultant contract. b.Be thoroughly familiar with any resultant contract and have the authority to make daily decisions for the contractorin his/herabsence.
