Specifications include, but are not limited to: Contractor shall provide all equipment, labor, fuel, supplies, tools, transportation, qualified, experienced operator(s), and supervision necessary to perform Snow Removal Operations to remove snow, ice and other frozen precipitation on the Interstate and Primary Routes listed herein in Montgomery and Pulaski Counties including all intersections and cross-overs, etc., as directed by the VDOT Contract Administrator or designee. Services included in this contract will be required on an on-call as needed basis, 24 hours a day, 365 days per year. All Trucks shall have owner provided plows, saddle tanks (except 1 tons), and chemical spreaders unless otherwise detailed herein. A Contractor supplied shift Supervisor with 4X4 vehicle shall be supplied at Contractors expense for each Lot awarded. This cost should be included in bid prices as no separate costs shall be billable.
