Specifications include, but are not limited to:Fairfax County Public Schools (FCPS) is interested in gathering information about any software application solution that will facilitate the documentation, tracking and reporting of the completion of snow removal services for FCPS’ Facilities and Transportation Department. 3.1. Functional Requirements: a. Material monitoring of sand and salt or ice melt b. Time tracking of in-house staff and contractor support c. Navigation & routing in-house staff and contractor support d. Reporting – breadcrumbs to show plowed activity and when a truck passes through a geo fence e. Live google maps f. Software integration with Excel g. Truck plowing times of all FCPS snow plows and vendor owned plows h. Truck salting times i. Sidewalk clearing times (start and finish) for laborers for contractor and FCPS staff. j. GPS monitoring of trucks and equipment through cell phones or GPS units
