Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Virginia Department of Transportation (herein referred to as “VDOT”) is soliciting bids from qualified firms to provide equipment with experienced, licensed operators to perform snow and ice removal services on VDOT maintained primary roads throughout Arlington County in VDOT’s Northern Virginia District. Snow Removal Season is defined as November 1st of each year through April 30th of the following year. The Contractor(s) shall provide the snow removal equipment listed with experienced, licensed operators, fuel, tools, parts, supplies, and all incidentals as necessary for safe and efficient snow removal operation. The work will consist of, but not be limited to snow and ice removal from VDOT maintained roadways. Work shall be performed on an as needed basis on primary routes throughout Arlington County in the Northern Virginia District as specified.
