Specifications include, but are not limited to: a. Single Axle Dump Spreader and Plow Vehicles: Single Axle Spreader/Plow vehicles shall be equipped with snow plow minimum of eleven (11) feet in length, approximately 30 inches in height, and 1,800 pounds in weight, a chemical spreader with a minimum of five (5) cubic yards or equivalent material capacity. b. Single Axle Dump Plow Only Vehicles: Single Axle Plow only vehicles shall be equipped with a snow plow minimum of eleven (11) feet in length, approximately 30 inches in height, and 1,800 pounds in weight. c. Tandem/ Multi-axle Spreader and Plow Vehicles: Tandem/Multi-axle vehicles shall be equipped with a snowplow minimum of eleven (11) feet in length, approximately 30 inches in height, and 1,800 pounds in weight, a chemical spreader with a minimum of eight (8) cubic yards or equivalent material capacity. d. Tandem/ Multi-axle Plow Only Vehicles: Tandem/Multi-axle vehicles shall be equipped with a snow plow minimum of eleven (11) feet in length, approximately 30 inches in height, and 1,800 pounds in weight. e. Supervisor Vehicles: Each supervisor’s vehicle shall be a pickup or SUV and be equipped with appropriate flashing lights and means of communicating with their operators. Four-wheel drive is recommended.
