Specifications include, but are not limited to: Single axle truck with Gross Vehicle Weight Restrictions (GVWR) of a minimum of sixteen thousand (16,000) pounds. Snowplow of a minimum of seven (7) feet and six inches (7’-6”) in length and approximately twenty-seven (27) inches in height and approximately four hundred and ten (410) pounds. Plow shall be articulated, i.e. adjustable in height and direction. Snowplow shall include trip blade protection and lighting. Equipment shall have necessary tie downs and optional chains for rear tires. Chemical spreader shall be a minimum capacity of three (3) cubic yard material capacity Unit shall have County owned Global Positioning System (GPS) /Automatic Vehicle Location (AVL) unit inside vehicle at all times while performing work for the County (provided for by County during each snow event).
