To survey the island of Tangier and immediate surrounding islands that serve as protection, as further described in the attached NFWF document, and provide data, design services, strategies, and cost for the Tangier Town Council in collaboration with the Chesapeake Bay Foundation its stake holders. To produce a document that ultimately reflects the data, prioritizes and breaks out areas of need, proposes conceptual design(s), and breaks out cost for final design, implementation and permitting along with timelines. No less than 3 meetings with Tangier’s Town council, CBF and other stakeholders are to be held to include a Community Input Workshop, a Vulnerability Assessment Charette, and an Adaptation Plan Presentation and Feedback Session. It is the intention that the selected firm would continue service to provide final design and permit application pending further funding.
