Specifications include, but are not limited to: The purpose of this Request for Proposal (RFP) is to solicit proposals to establish a contract through competitive negotiations with one qualified vendor to provide a complex and high level of security services during a variety of University special events, to include concerts, dances, speeches and other related artistic, athletic and professional performances. These services include general building security, fire watch assignments for academic and residence hall facilities, traffic control, personal performer security, executive protection and audience safety and security on ‘as-needed’ based, for multiple departmental and University events, facilities, as well as for the Police Department, at Christopher Newport University, herein after referred to as “CNU”, an agency of the Commonwealth of Virginia.
