Specifications include, but are not limited to: 1. The College desires to enhance its security and public safety by deploying a professional, well trained, and well supervised unarmed security officer force. To that end, the College seeks a fully qualified provider of unarmed uniformed security officers (Security Provider/Contractor) to provide services at TCC, including its campuses and facilities not located on its campuses. 2. The Security Provider/Contractors work will be carried out within the specific parameters detailed and reflect the Colleges position as an open and inviting element of the community it serves. 3. The full scope and specification of services provided will be subject to operational details negotiated at the time of the contract award.5 4. The College desires that the contract commence on July 1, 2013. B. Specific Guard Service Requirements: 1. The Service Provider shall provide and supply Security Officers to perform security services at Tidewater Community College at the start of the contract. 2. Section C below outlines projected security officer staffing for the College campuses and Security (Account) Manager. For the purposes of the cost proposal, potential Contractors should use these numbers. Final posting will be negotiated with the successful Contractor after award.
