The Virginia Department of Transportation (herein referred to as “VDOT”) is soliciting bids from qualified firms to furnish, deliver, sand on an as-needed basis for Richmond and Hampton Roads Districts. This procurement is being conducted on behalf of state agencies, institutions and other public bodies who may be added or deleted at any time during the period of the contract, see Additional Users Clause, Special Term and Condition #1. The following military installations are included as additional users: • Joint Expeditionary Base Little Creek Fort Story- Virginia Beach, VA • Norfolk Naval Shipyard- Portsmouth, VA • Oceana- Virginia Beach, VA • Norfolk- Norfolk, VA • Yorktown- Yorktown, VA • Fort Walker-Formerly AP Hill- Fort Walker, VA
