Specifications include, but are not limited to: provide equipment and labor to load, haul, discharge, and dispose of aqueous wastewater with high salt concentrations (salt pond water) and solid waste (sludge) from various locations, on an as-needed basis. ; 3. Frequency of Wastewater Pumping: Pumping will be required when VDOT has determined the holding ponds are a certain level of salinity and/or have surpassed storage capacity. Total gallons pumped and frequency of pumping will vary per Area Headquarters and may depend on rainfall and frequency of snow removal operations. 4. Frequency of Solid Waste Removal: Solid Waste (sludge) removal will be requested as needed, depending on frequency of snow removal operations and rainfall. 5. Pond capacities range from approximately 11,000 gallons to approximately 30,000gallons. 6. Minimum Order per location will be 5,000gallons.
