STATEMENT OF NEEDS The University is issuing this RFI to gather information from the vendor community to identify potential providers of safety training software. The University seeks software capabilities providing the following but not limited to: • Comprehensive digital, web-based learning platform with content for workplace safety, laboratory safety, and environmental compliance topics • Ability to assess training needs and make recommendations for optimal solutions • Price and functionality appropriate for safety departments of mid-sized higher education institutions • Content current with best practices and in alignment with OSHA, NFPA, and EPA standards • Training material is engaging, easily accessible, and user-friendly • Quizzes or other assessment tools built into training modules • Preferred ability to add custom training content • Learning management system with a centralized platform to assign courses, track learner progress, and manage training records • System-generated notices and reminders sent to users • Preferred mobile application that works with both IOS and Android • Unlimited user licenses or ability to accommodate up to 300 trainees, each requiring multiple training modules • Ability to assign roles for supervisors so they can add training modules and view completion for their teams • Ability to generate and customize reports for individuals, training topics, teams, etc. • Ability to export all training records • Single sign-on authentication • Security documentation available upon request 45 • Implementation services provided for uploading user lists and training requirements • Training services for CNU software administrators and team leaders on functionality and troubleshooting • Email and phone access to technical support with response time within one business day • Documented record of successful implementation in mid-sized higher education institutions
