The Arlington County Fire Department (ACFD) is soliciting for a turnout gear dryer that is compliant with NFPA 1851. The department maintains approximately 1500 sets of gear and requires a heavy-duty automatic dryer for water-washed personal protective equipment that meets the following requirements. Performance Requirements: • Airflow: 300 CFM (5.5 CMM). • Motor Horsepower: 2 x 1/8 hp. • Control System: Minimum of five programmable drying cycles. Ability to time dry up to 555 minutes. Ability to cool from 2 minutes to 60 minutes. Variable temperature settings from 100 - 150 degrees F (38 - 65 degrees C). • Boot / Glove Holders: 15. • Voltage: 240v/60hz/3 phase.
