Specifications include, but are not limited to:The Contractor shall clean approximately 3610 square feet encompassed at the VDOT Central Region Operations (CRO) Thornburg campus consisting of the CRO Office Trailer and the CRO Traffic Signal Office. The address for these facilities is 4922 Mudd Tavern Road, Woodford, VA 22580. 2. The Contractor shall clean the Central Region Trailer and Central Region signal shop two (2) days per week on Tuesday and Friday. 3. The Contractor shall not provide services on the following State of Virginia approved holidays: New Year's Day, LeeJackson Day, Martin Luther King, Jr. Day, President’s Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Columbus Day, Veterans Day, Thanksgiving Day and the Day After Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day. B. LEVEL OF SERVICE: The Contractor shall provide a level of cleaning equal to or better than the standards defined by the Building Service Contractors Association (BSCA) for Prestige and Adequate Cleaning. 1. Prestige shall be defined as a cleaning standard that makes a cleaning complaint a rarity, especially in areas of high public use. Acceptable inspection methods include random inspections, customer comments and unsolicited compliments from employees or visitors. 2. This level of service shall be required throughout all buildings. C. CONTRACTOR RESPONSIBILITIES The Contractor shall sign in and out daily detailing the start time and finish time in a daily log furnished by VDOT. Administrative Services/Procurement Page 4 CRO Thornburg Janitorial Services IFB #153870 The Contractor shall furnish all labor, supplies, materials, equipment and supervision to satisfactorily perform the janitorial services at the frequencies and time as specified below: 1. WEEKLY SERVICE: The Contractor shall perform the following services on the designated days of the week scheduled to start at 5:30 pm. a. BATHROOMS: i. Floors shall be swept and mopped or scrubbed. Special attention shall be given to maintaining the floor around toilet fixtures. ii. Commodes/Urinals shall be clean, washed, sanitized, dry wiped and free of water spots, inside and out. Splashings surrounding the wash basins and urinals shall be removed. iii. Urinal traps shall be cleaned and maintained free from odors. iv. All basins/mirrors shall be clean, free of water spots, inside and outside, including pipes, faucets, etc. All mirrors shall be clean, free of streaks, smears, water spots and dust. Shelving, dispensers, chromium fixtures, and piping shall be damp-wiped and polished dry. v. Stall partitions, wall surfaces, doors, and waste receptacles shall be cleaned, without residue, smudges, film, writing, or dust.
