Specifications include, but are not limited to: The purpose of this Request for Proposals (RFP) is to solicit sealed proposals to provide high-quality secondary instructional materials/core textbook resources and supporting materials that are aligned with the VDOE 2023 Mathematics SOLs for the courses of Math 6/Math 6 Honors, Math 7/Math 7 Honors, Math 8 (Pre-Algebra), Algebra I, Geometry, and Algebra II. We are seeking curriculum resources that support deeper learning in Mathematics, with an emphasis on becoming mathematical problem solvers, communicating mathematically, reasoning mathematically, making mathematical connections, and using mathematical representations to model and interpret practical situations. Practical situations include real-world problems and problems that model real-world situations.
