The work includes providing all labor, materials, machinery, tools, equipment and other means of construction necessary and incidental to the completion of the work shown on the Drawings and described in these Specifications including, but not necessarily limited to, the following: 1. Demolition of existing secondary clarifiers no. 3 and 4 and piping as shown on contract drawings. 2. Provide and install all erosion control measures as shown in the contract drawings. 3. Excavation, backfilling, and restoration. 4. Construction of two new, cast-in-place concrete, 60-ft diameter secondary clarifier tanks. Clarifier tank components to include, but not limited to, new 304SS mechanism, control panel, center unit drive, and FRP baffles and weirs. 5. Provide new 16-inch clarifier influent, 14-inch clarifier effluent, 8-inch sludge, and 6-inch scum and 6-inch drain below grade piping between the new clarifier and existing tie-in locations as indicated on contract drawings. 6. Provide new 8-inch RAS and 6-inch WAS below grade piping per contract drawings. 7. Provide new electrical equipment including Clarifier Control Panels, associated wiring, conduits and connections required to power and operate the panels and equipment. 8. Provide all valves, bends, couplings as shown on the contract drawings or as needed.
