Specifications include, but are not limited to: In order to meet program goals, successful bidders are required to implement the following program activities See Appendix #8 as appropriate for their communities: Group-based parenting education series Support groups Parent/child playgroups One-time workshops Special family events Drop-in time Outreach other than home visiting Individual family support Concrete supports Resource lending program Resource material loans Community information and referral services Successful bidders are also encouraged to provide the following concrete services and/or information/referrals, as appropriate for their communities: Early care and education services including childcare Home visiting Early developmental screening of children Warmline services job readiness and counseling education and literacy services nutritional education life management skills training peer counseling and crisis intervention Respite care Family violence counseling services. Referral for health (including prenatal care) and mental health services Services to support families of children with disabilities Emergency services (including food pantry, clothing, meals, housing assistance, domestic violence) Other services as defined by the program The attached file labeled old format contains the current layout and design for NCOA mailings done by SBE. HOWEVER the SBE is soliciting through this Quick Quote new, more economical ways to accomplish this mailing. Regardless of format, sizing, etc., forms must be printed in accordance with the following specifications and conditions: 1. 60# white opaque stock (or equivalent) 2. 4/c ink process non-variable copy shall be PMS 287 blue, variable copy: black ink. ALL VARIABLE COPY MUST BE SMUDGEPROOF IN WET CONDITIONS. 3. Artwork: a. Non-variable and variable copy, two-sided. Variable copy items are highlighted on attachment. b. Non-variable copy: A PDF artwork file will be supplied with the purchase order. c. Variable copy: Shall be created by selected vendor using supplied file layouts, imaged like sample. 4. Extraneous marks: No manufacturers logo, union bugs or printers marks are to be printed on mailers. 5. Vendor shall provide two pre-press hard copy proofs for approval prior to printing. 6. Vendor shall provide a report of all undeliverable addresses based on the NCOA match processing. 7. Vendor shall provide another report with a roster reflecting who were sent the mailers so the SBE can update the VERIS records accordingly. 8. SBE will fund postage costs via an established USPS account all mail shall be sent 1st class. 9. Vendors quote shall be complete and all-inclusive (i.e., shall include all design, consulting, bindery functions, cutting, gluing, folding and sorting).
