Scott County Schools is requesting a General Contractor to complete all work needed for demo and construction of an elevator shaft for a Elvoron LULA Garaventa Lift. The details of the shaft and drawings will be issued at the pre-bid or alternate scheduled pre-bid meeting onsite at Rye Cove High. Other requirements required by the elevator contractor include; 1. A hoist beam is to be provided by others. 2. Furnish a dry reinforced pit with either a drain or sump pump. 3. Hoistway walls are to be designed and constructed in accordance with the required fire rating including where penetrated by machine room piping, elevator fixtures boxes, rail bracket fastenings, etc. The front wall is to be left out until after the entrances are installed. 4. Provide all cutting and patching of walls.
