Scope of Work: Route 1 Shared Use Path (Marina Drive – Merriewood Road) involves the construction of a ten-foot shared use path (SUP) along northbound US Route 1 from Marina Drive/Parkdale Road – Merriewood Road. The SUP crosses into the median at Marina Drive and Dundas Road. The work will include clearing, grading, asphalt paving, erosion & sediment control, signage, pavement markings, pedestrian signals, adjustments to existing signal equipment, adjustment of utilities, a retaining wall, electrical conduit & junction box installation, landscaping, temporary traffic control, and other items necessary for the completion of the work. Route 1 Shared Use Path (Merriewood Road – Elliham Ave) involves the construction of an eight to ten-foot shared use path along northbound US Route 1 from Merriewood Road – Elliham Avenue. The work will include clearing, grading, asphalt paving, erosion & sediment control, signage, pavement markings, adjustment of utilities, electrical conduit & junction box installation, landscaping, temporary traffic control, and other items necessary for the completion of the work. Route 1 Pedestrian Hybrid Beacon involves the construction of pedestrian hybrid beacons for the northbound and southbound travel lanes of US Route 1 near its intersection with Marina Drive/Parkdale Road. The work will include installation of the PHB, temporary traffic control, and other items necessary for the completion of the work.
